I loved the Tao of Bouvie. It reminded me of how it feels to be "in love!" (yeah, past tense, unfortunately, but you never forget!) I think the lesson is "be here now!"

I love this! What a great teacher your Bouvie is!

My late canine mistress was "Madame", a 150 lb. St. Bernard. She was the love of my life and unbelievably psychic. It broke my heart to have to put her down and I've never had another dog since.

Reading about your Bouvie makes me miss my best girl, Madame. But thanks so much for sharing the sweet wisdom of Bouvie and it makes so much sense! Wouldn't you know a dog would have it all figured out?

Keep us posted when he comes up with new material......

All the best,
Judith

My first dog is still the best friend I've ever had. She would humor me by pretending to listen when I spoke to her. When I barked, she looked at me as if I said something that made absolutely no sense. Dogs ask so little of us and give so much. Are Bouviers a good dog for a person with allergies?

My father died when I was six and my Lab Tuffy raised me from there. Still have to write his story. But I do have some about my Chile, my co-pilot, and my new Chile, Minnie, who was sent to me by her so that I would not be lonely and would think of her every few minutes. Minnie, a Min-Pin, just follows me everywhere and reminds me to give belly rubs as much as possible. Let's see here: a Tao of belly rubs is in the offing. Will get back with it or let others contribute. Am going to be posting some articles in Open Salon about the animals who have been my spirit guides.

Our first-born son is a veterinarian who has nearly quit the business because he has had to kill so many animals for human convenience.

Please, everybody, go to John Grogan's blog and read about his new puppy, Woodson, from the movie, and hip displasia and inbreeding and how Marley sent this puppy to him so that he would be cared for and not killed.

Much is being learned and published about the psychic and spiritual power of animals. Just google and find. Thank you, Doctor, for this article and please continue this messaging.

Hi Alex and Bouvie, Thanks for the insight. Our child with fur (dog) :

Loves us unconditionally.

Does not care we use canes or walkers.

Shows us what pleasure a toy can bring.

Cheers us up.

Makes the world a better place by being it.
