Obama, Arnold, And The Renewed Climate Change Fight
Despite many rumors, don't look for Schwarzenegger in the Obama administration, at least not now, though candidate Obama mentioned him several times as someone he'd like to appoint.

President-elect Obama, Iranians are wonderful people. They don't deserve harm.
China's policies, financial and otherwise, are aimed not at intimidation but at forcing the U.S. to bind itself to China. When the bad times come -- I suppose they're already here -- neither will be able to abandon the other.
The people in eastern Congo are tired; we have been running for more than a decade now. We need to sit down, live in peace and raise our children.
"Leaders can eat what they want as long as they take decisive action to deliver the policies and the aid in agriculture that is needed to ensure that poor people who are suffering from high food prices are helped," said Alexander Woollcombe, a spokesman for the British aid group Oxfam.

Washington and activists around the world need to focus on Beijing's investment strategy -- its economic interests are undermined by its present foreign policy and offering China real alternatives.

Iraq remains a powder keg. "The Surge" has done little to increase security, a state of civil war remains and regional conflict threatens greater problems for the future.

Ugh. An interventionist at the UN. As deplorable as the situation in Darfur is, we as a nation simply cannot afford any more military adventures, however well-intentioned. We are drowning under an ocean of debt, which means we can't be the world's police anymore. It's high time for the Europeans to step up and shoulder some of that burden.
The fact that Susan Rice has "Huffington Post Pieces" destroys any credibility she had.
That is interesting since she did not want the word genocide used to describe Rwanda since it was so close to the November elections. She also did not raise one finger to end it. Dr.Rice is the worst p.ossible choice for the position
PE Obama passed over Susan Rice for SOS for a lesser qualified white woman for political reasons, not the good of the country. That's why he's elevating the role of the UN Ambassador to the cabinet. He will be sorry he asked Hillary Clinton to be SOS. This has diminished him in my eyes.
I don't like Hillary as SOS either!!! Bad choice. It hasn't dminished Obama though. We won't agree with all of his selections.
